Go2Zero Strategies Awarded Smart Gardening Contract of Los Angeles County
Four-Year Contract Will Encompass Composting Workshops, Installations of School Gardens
Go2Zero Strategies is pleased to announce it has won the Smart Gardening contract from the County of Los Angeles. Go2Zero Strategies is an independent consulting firm that specializes in Zero Waste, recycling, solid waste management and resource management strategies for businesses and communities.
“We’ve partnered with many local nonprofits and together, we’re all excited to serve the more than 10 million residents of Los Angeles county on this project,” said Judi DeLugg Gregory, CEO of Go2Zero. “For this four-year contract, the county is relying upon Go2Zero’s whole team to transform and reinvigorate this important program.”
In January 2019, Go2Zero began to host all county-wide backyard composting workshops, maintain 20 county demonstration sites, train children, install school gardens, and more. The team is ramping up efforts to implement processes and practices for smooth acquisition of work from the prior project provider.
